Congratulations to the East Prairie Preschool Team on earning the Gold Circle of Quality recognition from the Illinois State Board of Education! This is a tremendous honor and a testament to the hard work, care, and commitment of our early childhood educators, staff, families, and students. Our students truly get an extraordinary educational experience from the moment they walk through our doors. This is a proud moment for our entire East Prairie community.
MAP testing begins tomorrow and will continue through the week for all our students in grades K-8. Please help your child by ensuring they get plenty of rest the night before, have a healthy breakfast, and come to school on time. We look forward to a successful week of testing.
Friday marked our first all-school pep rally of the year, and it was a blast! Students brought the energy as we met our amazing Student Council Board, welcomed new teachers and students, competed in fun games and relay races, and showed off our school spirit loud and proud! We’re so excited for what this year has in store—let’s keep the momentum going!

Yesterday was all smiles and sunshine as our primary students enjoyed a fantastic Park Day! From exciting games to picnic treats, laughter filled the air as our young learners explored, played, and made joyful memories with friends and teachers.

What an amazing time at our End-of-Year Pep Rally today! Our students were treated to exciting performances by the Panther Band, a fun-filled student vs. staff dance-off, high-energy routines from our talented middle school dancers, and school-wide singing and celebration. A perfect way to wrap up the year with Panther pride and joy!
