REMINDER that tomorrow is our GRAD & PRE-K picture retake day.

This week, our Kindergarten students enjoyed the show "Pout Pout Fish" at the North Shore Center For The Performing Arts in Skokie. This excellent live performance aligned with stories our students have read in the classroom. Thank you to our family volunteers.

Spotlight on Math Games Club! Students in this club play fun math games weekly with friends to practice and reinforce fundamental math skills. Thank you to Ms. V for supporting this club to promote student learning and growth!

Preferred Dentistry is coming to EPS!!! We are excited to welcome back Preferred Dentistry Associates, who will be at EPS tomorrow, October 22nd. They will provide free preventative dental care to students. Please make sure to sign and return your child’s permission form.

Our Quarter #1 pep rally on Friday was so much fun. We celebrated our students and staff on a successful first quarter. We are proud of the hard work everyone has put in to make it such a wonderful start to the year. Thank you to our EPS families for their continued collaboration and support.

Come hang out from 9:30-11:00 AM as we dine on donuts (and coffee), play in our open gyms, and glide through a paper airplane contest. This event is sponsored by our EPS Dads group and is open and inclusive to everyone.

Join our superintendent, GUEST BARISTA, Dr Goldberg, at Will's Place tomorrow morning! Come and enjoy some coffee and good conversation from 9:00 am-10:00 am.

The second graders went on a field trip on Friday to the Chicago Botanic Gardens. We learned more about plants and how seeds travel in connection with our science unit of study. Thank you to our incredible staff and volunteer parents for helping to make this trip so amazing.

REMINDER: No School TOMORROW! We look forward to welcoming our students back on Tuesday.

Our Pre-K class had a pizza party as a part of our Pre-K curriculum. Cooking experiences give our students real-life opportunities to help plan, create, and serve the food that they are consuming. #PreK

The Board of Education’s October meeting will be held tonight and will occur in the Plotkin Boardroom. Please enter through the district office door on main circle drive - the regular meeting begins at 7:00 PM.

Graduation, pre-k and retake pictures are ready to view. Please take a moment to view/order your child's school picture. Emails were sent to all parents from JostensPIX , you can call our school office with any questions or if you need help accessing your child's school photo.

Spotlight on our after-school clubs. Thank you Mrs. Warner for leading a fun and educational "Book and Craft Club" in our after-school clubs program. Today our students read the "Pig the Pug" series by Aaron Blabey and did a fun craft. #afterschoolCLUBS

Join us tonight for our PTA meeting at EPS! We will meet in the atrium at 7:00 PM, childcare will be provided.

Thank you to Ms. Ingrassia for coaching our 6th-grade-girls volleyball team. We are so excited for this amazing sports season. #athletics
