Our Philosophy
The East Prairie Preschool program incorporates all areas of development. These areas include social, emotional, linguistic, physical, creative, and cognitive. Children work and play together to solve problems, share experiences, and develop new skills. Daily activities will be presented through thematic units and reflect the interests and curiosity of the children.
Preschool for All Grant
East Prairie District 73 was awarded the funds to support our PFA (Preschool fof All) Program through a competitive grant and, as a result, is able to provide free preschool to eligible students. We are proud to serve all students in this program, including students in special education, students learning English and students who are considered at-risk with the goal of preparing all of our students for academic success as they begin their school career. The district uses a system to screen students to determine which students are eligible for this tuition free program.
After your submitted documents are reviewed and your child is screened, the district will notify you whether you qualify for the PFA program.
Tuition if not qualified for PFA grant funding:
In District Tuition
• $3,625 (or $362.50/month for 10 months)
Out Of District Tuition
• $4,900 ($490/month for 10 months)
Enrollment
You may pick up a registration packet at the school office or print it and drop it off.
A non-refundable check made out to District 73 for $200 is required in order to reserve your child’s placement if you do not qualify for the PFA grant. This deposit will go towards the first month’s tuition.
