She shared how she builds an inclusive classroom for all EPS children and families. On November 1, 2025, members of the East Prairie School Educational Foundation will be hosting a Welcome Home to the Prairie event at East Prairie School. The program will feature information about our new school and tours of the new building for alumni and community members.
We will also be honoring and remembering Bob Miller, East Prairie's long-time principal, who passed away last year. Refreshments will be served. Just a quick reminder that there will be no school tomorrow. We hope everyone enjoys the extra time to relax, recharge, and spend time with family. School will resume on Tuesday, 10/14.
Yesterday, some of our first graders brought extra personality to the classroom with a fun Hat Day! From silly and sparkly to cool and creative, each hat was unique and fun. It was a great way to celebrate self-expression and bring a little extra joy to our day.

Teamwork makes the dream work! Our second graders had a blast participating in fun team-building activities that helped them learn cooperation, communication, and problem-solving — all while having tons of fun!
We are so excited to welcome back the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile on Tuesday, September 30th. They will be here to provide physicals, sports physicals, and vaccines to any student who is on public insurance (All Kids/Medicaid) or who is uninsured.
