Panther LogoDear East Prairie families,

At noon tomorrow you will receive an email and phone call with detailed information regarding our Remote Learning plans.  You will be asked to confirm that you received the email so that we can make sure EVERY family is connected and prepared for this new model of education.  Our team is continuing to work this week to roll out devices and internet connectivity to families needing these resources.  Our goal with Remote Learning is to continue to provide our students with a well-rounded and engaging educational experience, while ensuring equitable access and opportunity for all children and families.  Monday, March 30th is a virtual institute day for our teachers.  Tuesday, March 31st will be the first day of Remote Learning at EPS.

Also beginning next week, EPS will provide FREE meals to either be picked up or dropped off.  This service will begin on Monday, March 30th and is open to ALL families.  Please reach out to and indicate your preference of “pick-up” or “drop-off,” as well as, confirm the number of meals you are requesting.  Delivery/drop-off services will only be provided to those families who are signed up and confirmed.  Meals can be provided for any child under the age of 18 in a household.  Again, there are no financial or pre-qualification requirements to participate; this opportunity is open to ALL families.

Today’s resource share is for all the animal lovers out there!  The Brookfield Zoo is bringing the zoo to you!  Check out their daily Facebook Live streams to meet some of the animals and chat with their care specialists.  Similarly, the Cincinnati Zoo is sharing resources for a home safari.  Lots of great ways to keep learning, exploring, and having fun!

In partnership,

The East Prairie Team
